If you purchase an in-stock DRAGON QUEST merchandise item (DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake pre-orders or purchases are ineligible for the promotion), you are eligible to receive a free code for the “Essential Items Kit” DLC once the game releases on October 30, 2025.
The “Essentials Items Kit” includes the “Beginner Battler Kit” and the “Bona Fide Battle Kit”, which will provide you with some in-game items. Please note these items are not exclusive and can be also obtained in game. DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2 Remake is required to redeem and download the DLC.
If you are eligible, you will receive an email in early October 2025 asking you to confirm your preferred platform of either PlayStation® 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 or Xbox Series X|S.
The codes will be sent to you on October 30, 2025, when the game releases.
